James Tretheway

Jim was a chaplain's assistant at the 24th, 1970 - 71.  He says, "A powerful experience. I had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the finest people I have ever met while there.  I particularly enjoyed bringing nurses to local orphanages as part of the unit's civic action program. "

"This sign graced the entrance to the 24th Evac headquarters building. In 1970, Col. C. R. Cochrane was in command. Photo taken around October 1970."
